Mortaza and Maze​s

One day Mortaza suggested that he could draw a maze on the office chair mat. I gave him the markers and here is the result. For a while, the under sides of my feet were green.

After I saw his interest in drawing mazes, I showed him a short clip of the Inception movie in which the challenge was to draw a maze in two minutes that could take one minute to solve. This clip intensified his interest.
For many nights after that, Mortaza made my wife and I sit down after dinner to challenge each other in a similar fashion. The idea was to draw mazes that were more difficult to solve. Here are some of the mazes he drew.

A couple of weeks after that, he made a few 2-level mezes with his magnets

Later on, one late January evening (2021), he remembered his old interest in mazes and as a before-bedtime challenge he drew this maze for me. He ended up solving it himself.
